About Us

Wood Studio was born far away from sterile corporate boardrooms, rooted in the heritage town of Ramgarh Shekhawati (Sikar), Rajasthan. Known across the world for its open-air art gallery of frescoed havelis, Shekhawati has been home to master woodcarvers and artisans for centuries.

In an era where modern homes became flooded with fragile particle board, short-lived MDF, and paper veneers, the soul of authentic Indian furniture was slowly getting lost. That very realization sparked the journey for our founder, Pramod Choudhary.

Growing up surrounded by historic wooden doors, carved pillars, and timeless furnishings that stood tall for decades, Pramod envisioned a brand that brought uncompromised authenticity back to modern homes:

Furniture shouldn’t be disposable decor that you replace every three years. It is the backdrop of your family’s daily life, your festivals, and your memories. Real homes deserve real, enduring hardwood.

With that conviction, Wood Studio brought together generational craftsmen from Ramgarh Shekhawati to bring pure, 100% solid Sheesham wood creations directly to homeowners across India.

Direct from the Sikar Workshop to Your Living Space

Big-box furniture stores and chain retailers add multiple layers of distributors, middlemen, and showroom margins. At Wood Studio, we keep our operations transparent, simple, and direct:

• Sourced & Crafted in Ramgarh Shekhawati: Every bed frame, mandir, bar unit, bookshelf, and wall console is meticulously handcrafted in our own workshop in Sikar.

• 100% Seasoned Grade-A Sheesham: Every single piece of timber undergoes precise chemical treatment and kiln-seasoning to protect against termites, warping, and seasonal expansion.

• Generational Joinery: Our artisans employ time-tested woodworking techniques—mortise-and-tenon joints, hand-carved floral accents, and hand-rubbed honey or walnut finishes that celebrate the natural, dramatic wood grain.

Our Four Core Commitments

1. Pure Hardwood Guarantee: Zero MDF, zero particle board, and zero fake laminates. When we say solid wood, we mean genuine Sheesham throughout.

2. Factory-Direct Value: Direct dispatch from our Sikar facility ensures you get premium artisan quality without bloated showroom markups.

3. Safe, Insured All-India Shipping: Multi-layered transit packaging and door-to-door delivery right to your home, backed by dedicated after-sales support.

4. Designs Built to Outlive Trends: Thoughtful, functional furniture crafted with the structural strength to be passed down through generations.
